This sad story began when Lorraine, 21 years old came to our offices requesting assistance with funds for an urgent medical procedure for her ailing baby.
Mosque Visit
Enlightened Generation International in conjunction with local authorities paid a visit to the area and had discussions with the Muslim Community on the importance of child protection and how to protect vulnerable children from exploitation. Young girls were trained on menstrual health and all equipped with sanitary pads to ensure their dignity is safeguarded.
